Got a wierd problem, plz help

Damir Osmanovic New member Username: Damiro Post Number: 1 Registered: Sep-04	Posted on Thursday, September 16, 2004 - 08:23 GMT Hi, can anyone help me, I have taken my old cd-player out of the car, and put the CDX-m630 in, but I dont know what I did wrong, cos now I have a problem, when I turn the key without start the engine, so only power starts, then cd-player works, but when I start the engine, than cd-player turns off, and then I cant start again no matter what I do, I need to take it out and put it again before it turns on again with power only, and goes off again when engine starts. What can the problem be? I have tried with 3 cd-players, and all of them turns off.

Some cars come with theft lock radios from the factory and when removed you have to change the wiring. http://www.the12volt.com/ is a good site for looking this up. Another thought is to run a power wire from the fuse block that is a switched power and use that.
