I am going to get two Alpine DVC Type Rs. I haven't decided on what version (2 or 4 ohm). I am also thinking of getting the Alpine M500. My question is if I hook them up together and say I had a 4 ohm load, would they each get the 250 that the amp is rated for at 4 omh or would they each get 125

Anyone going to answer? It's a fairly basic question. Does watts split with the number of items being powered?
