Just got a new car, has a nice hu, with the touch screen, 30gb harddrive etc...Just wondering any problems or situations I might run into if I tried to wire an amp for a woofer into it.
As with "all" stock HUs you will need a good quality line level converter picking up the signal from the car speakers, it is usually a simple procedure. As always you will get rather poor results in regards to LF response and SQ. Also make sure that the amp you buy has built in LPF.
