Thursday, March 19, 2009 - 16:30 GMT Hey everyone, In the mail I just got my two polk momo 8" subs and my 15" momo. I know what amp im using for the 15" but I was looking for a 2 channel amp for the 8"s that had a low pass filter above 200hz. Something like 400 or 500hz. Anyone have any recommendations?

Thursday, March 19, 2009 - 18:02 GMT Kenwood FTW! Try ~60hz LP for the 15" and ~85hz HP on the 8"s. But will depend greatly on enclosures, vehicle, and of course crossover slopes on your amps. With that amount of stuff I hope you have a detailed EQ, could start to sound pretty funky but I'm sure you have that covered

Thursday, March 19, 2009 - 18:09 GMT yea, i got that covered. I run my stock headunit but I have a Zen W pumping to that. Its got a 8 band EQ on it and It has worked with my previous 2 setups very well.

Thursday, March 19, 2009 - 18:11 GMT I was thinking about facing my 15" to the rear and my 8"s facing up i have a really nice design drawn out. I just have to wait for it to get warmer so i can fiberglass it.

Thursday, March 19, 2009 - 20:40 GMT That setup will work if crossed over correctly, where the 8"s are used as midbass. You are going to need an active crossover like an audiocontrol EQS. The ones built into most amps won't do it.
