I own a Phoenic gold route 66 amp(40w x6 / 80w x3 in 4ohm stereo, stable into 1ohm stereo). Will one ch briged(160w) be ok to drive 3 JL AUDIO 12w3v2-dvc-d4 subs(2,7ohm)? I would like to compete in the SQ 0-300w range.
PS, you could also run the entire system with a single Orion 2100HCCA amp. rated for 100WRMSx2ch @ 4 ohms. Amp is 1 ohm stable, or 0.5ohm stable depending on the version you find on eBay used. actual power output at 1/2 ohm is 1600WRMS
