Ok. I have 2 12' Punches. I have a 4-channel amp rated at 400w/rms; I also have a 2-channel amp rated at 500w/rms. Is it possible to hook the 500rms amp and the 400rms to the same subs.

I mean this by bridging the 400 so it gives 200 to each sub and then using the 500 regularly and giving 250 to each sub?

Things you might need to know (not sure)
-I'm using a cross-over
-I have a capacitor or cap which ever you prefer
-I drive a 2006 monte carlo
-100 amp fuse under hood and in trunk
-Subs rated 1000 watt rms each.

No.
This is why we have ebay, craigslist, and a classified section on about every audio website.
Sell your two amps and find something that's up to the task.

What is the make and model of your subs and amps?

What subs and amps do you have? If those are Rockford punches, they are not 1000w rms each.
