I want to install a new system in my 2007 Toyota Camry. I read alot of post on this forum and learned alot. I want to install 2-12's. I'm not really on no budget. Someone recommended the kicker l7's and I actually like the way they hit. I want a system where I won't have to upgrade and get a HO altenateur. I want something where I could get the max out of the stock altenater with not many upgrades. I need suggestions for an amp and subs!!! Thanks in advance!!

altenateur is french for alternator

what are you looking for?

SPL - loud
SQ - Sound Quality
SQL - a mixture of SPL and SQ

You have to have a budget - if no budget, then why not upgrade the electrical system?

do you have a HU, any wiring, anything?

I guess I'm looking for SQL. Loud and clear hard hitting bass. I have a HU with sub outputs. The reason for not upgrading the electrical would be I'm not keeping this car for long. I want to build a system with lots of power and I could take out and put it in another vehicle when I get rid of this one.

what kind of car do you have now?

do you plan on upgrading your electrical in your next vehicle?

what brand and model is your HU?

what total cost do you want to stay under?

On a stock electrical you're limited to ~1000w without pushing things.....

I would get a Fi Q and a Audioque 1200d. Thats about $500 for both plus wiring and box.

i disagree fi btl and ascendent are amazing subs but he wanted sound quality as well and any audio junky knows that fi slams but qualty can be taken away. i suggest pioneers, orions, or kicker. the trunk is a small air space the box would take up the whole trunk and the positive side pressure would have little room for acoustics.

to owners of lanzar and autotek. by some real stuff. i was just offering a better solution beacuase i just did this car two days ago and i had and old school fosgate 800@2 on 2 audiobahns and the kid cooked his alt 3 days later. and we all know that fi's are power hungry plus they take up lots of space with the massive box they require.

LMAO you just continue to add to your pile of fail......

" any audio junky knows that fi slams but qualty can be taken away. "

Wrong

" i suggest pioneers, orions, or kicker. "

Wrong. Kicker for SQ? Go smoke some more

" i disagree fi btl and ascendent "

The BTL or any ascendant sub have not been mentioned in this thread genius.

" to owners of lanzar and autotek. by some real stuff. "

I don't own either of those brands

" fi's are power hungry plus they take up lots of space with the massive box they require. "

Wrong and wrong.

Thanks for playing, you fail.

well i have in my current collection orion hcca 2100 first edition, orion old school 800.4,kicker 2500.1, kicker 800.4, old school fosgate 120@2, 500s and 3 x fosgate 800@2 mmats d100 mmats d300 and my baby a mcintosh 50x4 old school also for the present time workin with a fosgate 4000d. ill give props to the sundown but until you've had old school you havent run anything. by the way i dont have my l7 15"s which i would throw punches into the cone to show durability, i dont know how many of you would do that. i mean paper cones are cool but i go heavy duty on everything last time i checked not to many shatter cones or seperated surrounds with kicker. once again im not biased torwards kicker. i like everything but dont be givin crap to the new guy im not a lil punk with jl w7's going my stuffs the best. give me my respect like i have given yours you can talk the talk but can you walk the walk.
