What do I need to power two 1200 watt subs?

I need an amp to power these, I dont know much about amps, i need an amp that can power these subs and make it sound good. I need help and info about what to get

two sony xplodes. around 100 dollars maybe more, just something that would make it work

Sony? Not that they could take the wattage but you won't get anything close to the power you're looking for with only $100.


You want 2400w and have $100?

"1200 watt" Sony subs will be 300-400w rms. So ideally you're looking for something around 800w at 2 ohms.
Even then you're going to be pushing it for $100.
There's a profile ap1500m that will give you around 600w, but it's $140 plus shipping. The ap1000m will give you 450-500w. Not ideal, but it will do ok - it's $100 plus shipping. Otherwise you're going to have to find something used.
