I've got an old schol Alpine 3527V. It's 25x4. Everything works great except the rca input connector on channel one is loose, so that channel cuts in and out. The input mode of the amp can be set so that channels 1 and 2 are combined in the input stage and come out bridged mono on the output stage. So here's my question: If I combine left and right with a y adapter and plug that into channel 2 and set the input mode to combine 1 and 2, will I get the same amount of power even though no signal is input to channel 1? I hope I made that clear. Any adivce is appreciated.

for it to be bridged it would need input on both, if your just wanting to get power to both outputs, that should work but im not sure. if you know how to solder or if you know anyone that you trust that can solder then you could try soldering that peice back to the circuit board, ive had to do stuff like that several times to my amps
