I have 2 Kenwood KFC-W3011's. They are 12" subs and are rated at 1200 Watts max and 400 Watts RMS a piece. What kind of amp should I be getting? I was looking at the Profile AP2000 b/c it is a 2-channel amp with 320 Watts RMS from each channel at 4 ohms but I have never installed a system before and just wanted to see if I was doing all of this correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated!

kicker Zx 750.1, wire your subs in parallel.

Remember, always look RMS ratings

Didn't someone just post a 750.1 for sale on here a couple days ago to?
If it's still for sale you could probably get a pretty good deal on it.

Wouldn't the profile ap2000 give each sub 320 Watts RMS at 4 ohms if I hooked one sub to each channel?

Would the RMS Wattage on the kicker Zx 750.1 be 375 to each sub if i wired them in parallel? Would this damage the sub itself?

Would the Alpine MRP-M450 amp be a better amp since it supplies 400 Watts RMS at 2 ohms and the subs are rated at 400 Watts RMS? I could just wire them in parallel to achieve 2 ohms right?

The alpine amp will only deliver 400 watts to your subs and your subs can handle 400 rms each. The kicker 750.1 would give them that much and more because kicker under rated this amp. Some birth sheets were claiming 900 watts rms. If you bought one of these amps you could run it to your subs and they would be fine since all decent built subs can take a little over their rated power for daily use. Heres is a kicker 750.1 with with a 869 watt birth sheet for 199.99 shipped.
