This has probably been touched on lots of times. I just upgraded my system 2 fold basically. Before i had orion 600d (600rms @ 1 ohm ) and two 05 Kicker cvrs off stock bat and alt no big 3. Now i am running four Pioneer Premiere TS-W1207D2s off hifonics 1606D with 200 alt amp from db electrical and big 3 with 1/0 gauge. I have installed it all. ( had one hell of a time getting the box to fit in the trunk) i just set my gain half way and bass boost about 1/3 my deck is set 0 bass, loud setting on, subwoofer setting up a few. and i just fool around with bass knob from amp. I really don't want to piss around and screw my new stuff up. If someone could explain to me how to set up all my setttings or refer me to a resource to tell me how that would be awesome. I know most use a DMM or what not. that would be best. but can it be done by ear? any help please.

You need a DMM. A $15 one from walmart is fine.

Turn sub level all the way up. Turn off EQ and set any other HU settings to 0 or off. Turn off bass boost.
