Alright, I don't deal with fuses much, so thought I should ask before I do something stupid. If my amp recommends a 60 amp fuse for the power cable, is it okay if I use a higher fuse? I have the choice of buying either a 60 amp agu fuse or a 150amp anl fuse (wire kit) and wasn't sure if I can use the 150 or not(anl fuses are better, so I'd like to go with that). Thanks.

Usually you should use a fuse with an amperage rating of 80% of the wire's.

if the amp has fuses built in (most do) the fuse you put on the cable at the battery end is to protect the cable only, so if the cable can handle 150 amps, fuse it at 150 amps... fuse needs to be the weakest link in the system...
