I looking to install a second battery. I currently have a high current amp, soon to be two and plenty of accessories. I wan't a second battery for two reasons, one, ease of install for future pieces, and two, so i can run my stuff without worring about being stranded. I wan't to install a deep cycle optima yellow top. However, im not sure what i need. I've done my research on battery isolaters, but theres so many different types i don't know which one is for me. If anyone could give me some insite it would be greatly appreacited. Thanks

a battery isolater is a battery isolator.
you need one rated for at least as much current as your alternator, which is especially important to keep in mind if you use a high output alternator.
good idea to isolate the yellow top. they make very poor starter batteries, but great batteries for an audio system.
