Hey, i have a 1600 watt amp with 160 rms and two 800 watt max, 400 rms Volfenhag 10" DVC's. I'm just learning about DVC's, but if i set the speakers up at 2 ohms that would set the output of my amp to 1600 watts to each speaker max and 160 rms to each, i'm guessing my amp doesn't actually put out that many watts max realisitically since the rms is low but would that be a bad thing to do? Also to do that would i need to have the amp brigged or in stereo?

if you have a four channel amp and 2 dvc subs you can run 2 channels to each voice coil of the suband youll be pretty loud or u can just buy a 2 channel amp (cheaper)and run the voice coils in a series and put one cahnnel to each hope i helped
