I have an alpine M1005, should I buy an 2 ohm or 4ohm alpine type r 15" sub

To get the full power from that amp you will need a SVC 2 ohm or DVC 4 ohm sub.

Yeah, a DVC 4 ohm subd wired in parallel makes 2 ohms.

I called crutchfield and he told me to get a 2ohm. I dont know what to do.

Get a Dual 4ohm and wire it down to a 2ohm load.

Can you spend $$50 more on a sub?
