Ground loop noise only when i put cd player into aux mode.

I just installed a harman/kardon drive + play kit for my stereo. when i play cds my bass and amp make no unwanted noise. when i switch to the aux mode on my panasonic cd player it starts meking a whining noise. anyone know how to get rid of the noise?

does it happen when the auxiliary wire is connected or anytime? because i have the same problem with mine (cheap sony xplod deck) and it does the same thing all i do is unplug the wire and put it back in, that usually stops the noise. also in a couple months if you use it lots you might get distorted sound when listening to your iPod or whatever. just unplug it and plug it back in. it sucks but thats what i do and it works.

try grounding the sheilding on the rca input. should help but in my case i also had to add a ground loop isolator on there as well and it finally got rid of everything
