i have a 2nd alternator sitting in my garage. i have a 92 grand prix is it possible to put the 2nd alternator in to power another battery for my amp. and if so how do i wire it.
you would have to make a custom bracket to get the alternator on that.. probably means eliminating something ac/power steering along with a bunch of wiring crap for voltage regulating etc.. be easier to get a high output alternator and a battery isolator - seperates the 2 batteries so there both not apart of the cars electical system
