How high of voltage can most amps take, anything higher then 14.5? I was wondering about getting a higher voltage alternator and regulating its power to the SUV to 14.5V so none of it will get messed up and then with the AMPS regul;ate it to what it will take, this was when it hits maybe the voltage will still be in 14V area? is this possible? does any1 kno the biggest direct mount HO alt i can get that is 18V or 24V?
