I am thinking on buying a BRUTUS 1905D for my two 10" solobaric dual 4 ohm subs. whay do you think about it? Does the hifonics specs are just numbers? or are they real? # Rated Power @ 2 ohm: 1250W x 1 RMS # Rated Power @ 1 ohm: 1900W x 1 RMS
overrated, i think someone said they put out a little over 70% of there rated power, other than that great budget amp. i know two people with hifonic amps and they never had a problem with them.
I didn't know they made a 1905D. I have a Zeus 5 channel and I have no problems with it but I hope to sell it soon and get a little more power for the components. Just sold a 1605D and my friend loves it. Seem to be a good amp but as stated, it doesn't put out to full RMS rating.
hifonics are good amps, obviously getting a hifonics 1000 watt rms amp for 200 and a jl audio 1000/1 for 750... there will be a quality/power diffrence, but the term "You get what you pay for" very much so applys to car audio. excepet some overpriced subs.
