Hooking up ground and power for eq to distribution block??

Alternatively, should it be run from a power wire from behind the dash? Also is it recommended running say a 1amp fuse on the eq power connection??

Active crossover "in trunk" has it's own ground, but shares power off a dist block shared by my 4ch. No noise problems??? hope it helps
