Posted on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 - 03:32 GMT my friend is buying instructional videos on fiberglass. Im looking to make my own custom kick panels. I used paper mache to make a custom kick panel, so I can pop it off and then fiberglass ontop of that. Would this be a good idea, or should I go about this a different way? |

Posted on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 - 05:03 GMT if you know how to work with fiberglass then go for it. after watching an intructional video on fiberglass i realize it requires alot of work and also requires alot of tools if you want good results. since you are only doing a kick panel i'd say do it. |

Posted on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 - 19:50 GMT what if I did multiple layers of paper mache, maybe like 10 layers, then do bondo all over the kick panel and door panel, smoothed it all out, then painted it. Would this work as well as fiberglass? Or Would it Break over a period of time? |

Posted on Thursday, March 16, 2006 - 19:17 GMT I would say it would break. Now maybe4-7 layers of fiberglass would be super strong and would last awhile. |
