was told i could wire my 4ohm dvc sub to my
2 channel alpine mrv-t707 independently( a channel to each voice coil). My question is do i set my amp to low pass and use my bass eq? Or does my sub just function as a full range speaker? I know that my only option is to buy a mono block amp, or a 2ohm dvc, or a 4ohm svc. Need help its for my wifes car dont want to spend to much and she doesnt need a lot.

set your amp to Low Pass... Subs need to play bass only, NO words!!

use the 2channel if u already have it, if the chanels are 2ohm stable, then u can hook up a dual 2ohm sub......... each vc to each channel!

i understand the now words part. The amps is not 2 ohm stable. So again my question is could i wire the voice coils Independently to a channel on the amp. and what would be the results. Subs are 200rms and 600 max

amp tested at 4ohms stereo 90w x 2 rms and
max 225W x 2 4ohms stereo

yes a dual 4ohm sub can be wired so that each voice coil gets a 90w per chanel @ 4ohm amplifier.

it wont be very loud though, each sub will get 90rms VS 200 rms
