Posted on Saturday, February 25, 2006 - 02:35 GMT So I put my new alternator on. Got it from Nathan over at Excessive Amperage. 200 Amp max. I sat and played my HU at full power at idle and it only dropped to 14.1 volts. Which is really nice. But when. But then when I cut a bunch of lights on they dim a tad. But that is only at idle. Driving with A/c, Lights, interior lights, HU at full volume. and nothin dims. I love it. =) |

Posted on Monday, February 27, 2006 - 16:55 GMT You will always get a slight dim, even with HO alternators cause, when a voltage drops from 14.6v to 13.2v (max volume).
As long as it' doesn't drop below 12.5v, then you're fine. |
