cause an amp to shut off when i take the two channels and make them one by bridging and take the two power/ground imputs for the amp itself and combine them and go to use my sub but it doesnt work?

why are u combinding the power and ground, also is ur amp bridgable, and if it is @ what ohm and does it match up with ur sub

because you dont use both power and ground, trying to destroy your amp?? You need to use the power from one, and ground from the other..definately not both from both!

It should say this by the inputs of your amp, as well as in the book. Make sure it's bridgeable, as well.

Yes, it should say normally above the terminals on your amp. Check the book as well. What model is your amp?

I didn't find much info on your amp, but the stuff I found made it seem like it is NOT bridgeable. It did appear that it would run two separate channels and was stable at 4,2,1 ohms.
