Cap for my amps

hey guys and girls been looking for a good car audio site for a while and ran into this one.

my system is
2000 dodge dakota club cab
HU pioneer p7600mp
front speakers RF 6.5 2way components p162s
rear speakers alpine 6.5 2way spl-17lp
subs 2 alpine r's 1242d
amp 2 1998 RF x500.2

the problem im haveing is when i turn up the amps my battery volts drop way down. after reading on the site for a while i see that i need a bigger alt. i would also like to put another amp a RF 200.4 to power my other speakers and a power cap into the system but i dont know what size or how many.

Go search under accessories for HO alternator links.
Get 160A or higher.
The cap size is 1F for every 1000w peak.

how would i hook up the cap because i have two power wires? can i hook both power wires to the + post on the cap then to the amps, if i do that what size wire should i use for the ground?

You can hook up 2 amps to 1 cap as long as you meet the requirement.
Keep the wires around 12" or shorter.
The wire size should be thick enough to accommodate the amp's current draw. In other words, if you're currently using 8/4 gauge wires, use the same.
