Well, today I am uninstalling my amp and subs to sell to a friend. After I take the power and ground cables out and then take the amp out out of the car. How can I leave the wires unused in the trunk with a danger of shocking my ground? Im going to be buying a new amp and subs soon, so I want to leave my amp kit in and then just put in the new amp in a week or so. But I have concerns about leaving live wires in my trunk. How can I do this safely.
So, take the wire off the battery, and then unscrew the fuse and take it off the rest of the wire? Wouldnt that leave a wire just dangling in my enigine bay though?
Ya he ment take the fuse out of the fuse holder... No power will reach the wires so everything would be fine and then you won't have that wire just dangling around in the engine bay.
