Hiya guys

this is my first post and i am a bit of a noob so go easy;_)

i have an atomic "12 apocalypse 1500 rms sub it has one positive and one negative terminal i assumer 4 ohm.

ive just bought a rockford fosgate mono x7 1580rms @ 2 ohms and 1000rms at 40hms.

assuming my sub is only 4 ohm as it only has one set of imputs and the amp is mono so cant bridge it, how do i use all 1580rms 2ohm on the one sub?

do i have to buy a sub with 4 terminals or 2 voice coils to make use of this amp?

Thanks and sorry for long post Paul.

assuming that ur sub is a svc 4 ohm u could only wire it @ 4 ohms. U could check here for other wiring options

with a SVC sub u can't do a thing 2 change it -

will be wiser 2 return the sub for a 4 or 2ohms DVC (if they have that option)

reason is a 1500wrms @ 4ohms amp will be pretty darn expensive ...........
