Hey i was wondering what might cause feed back while i adjust the gain on amp. I was upsidedown in the trunk and adjusting the gain was dificult, one turn too much and i got feedback, Was this just a case of too much gain? Just checking.

you can't get feedback without a mic, or something that picks up vibrations with the potential to put the sound back through the speakers (or "feeding it back")...

yah, sounds like a gain issue tho, just uhh, don't turn it up that high?

what if you get the whine no matter how much you turn the gain up or down?

then it's probably a bad ground. double check all your connections.

yes, mke sure yer ground is clean, scrape away all paint so it's touching bare chasis metal. if you still get the whine, make sure yer rca's aren't run across or run next to any big power lines. and if you still get the whine, try another ground spot.
