Posted on Wednesday, November 09, 2005 - 12:37 GMT Alright,i have a 01 s10 and my radar detector does not go off when i turn my truck off,anything that is plugged in the 12v sockets will not go off i have to turn it on/off everytime i get in and out of my truck.Is there any way i can wire it or something so it goes off when i turn off the ignition?Wut about the accessory wires on my wire harness to my cd player can i hook it up to that? |

Posted on Thursday, November 10, 2005 - 10:09 GMT About the wire of the CD player, do not do that , because yopu will decrease the Voltage to 85% of the Player,
So my advice to you is:
1.Wire a cable(say 'A') 0.7mm thikness from the Battary(+ve).
2. Connect an othre wire (say 'B') 0.7 thikness to any metal part of the boady of the car.
3. connect the both wire 'A' and 'B' to the RADAR Detectors's (+ve) and (-ve) stockets respectively.
