what would be louder. My amp is kicker kx1200.1 and the specs are 300 at 4ohm, 600 at 2ohm and 1200 at 1ohm. i have 2 dual 2ohm subs. i can connect both subs using series-parallel connection and get a 2ohm load or i can connect one sub using parallel connection and get a 1ohm load. the recommended volume for my subs are 1.30-3.15 cu ft. if i were to install both subs with the space in my trunk, each section of the enclosure would have about 1.6 cu ft. with only one sub the volume would be alot more flexible cause i can make the box bigger. so would having one sub be louder than having two? subs 1500watts and 3000watts peak.
