i recently have purchased the mrd-m605. but due to the fact that the 1242 would have to be wired @ 2ohms 600rms, i am leaning towards a polk momo @ 4 ohms 400 rms. The reason in doing this is because I would also like to be running a four channel amp at the same time 160 rms. it would be less draw on the alternator if i chose the 4 ohm road. i guess the real question is if i do decide to go with the type r am i going to have to be worrying about power issues with the alternator? 760 rms versus 560 rms or should i not be worrying about the alternator at all. and i would also like some opinions on the polk momo. Experience with rockford and jl pretty much so i havent a clue. any advice would be appreciated.

i've also been reading reviews about the polk. they seem to be good, despite the fact that these idiots tend to want to keep on putting 600 rms on 400 rms subs, anyways wanted to get some input possibly from a live body on this forum. peace
