okay i need to know, can you have too much amp? i am getting 2 10" MTX subs @ 2 ohms impedence @ 600watts RMS.

i bought a HIFONICS 1500D, 1500 watts RMS @ 1 ohm.

so i am going to hook the subs in parallel(sp), so the resistance is lowered and its @ 1 ohm, and hook the amp @ 1 ohm impadence aswell, WILL THIS BE OVERKILL since i have 300 more watts than the sub needs? or is that a good thing? i heard that if you dont have enough amp you should not play high vol since it will puch the sub,

ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT WITH 300 more watts???

are those svc or dvc..but for your question no you should be fine with 300extra watts..in fact that amp is overrated so you'll only have like 50wrmss extra each sub
