are they any good and what would be the RMS rating on a 1000watt amp from rockwood or would i get a better RMS rating off a 760 watt 2 channel pioneer amplifier

If your referring to Rockford. The rockford will show the pioneer up hands down. Pionner makes awsome stuff but not there lower end amps.
I have the older Rockwood sniper series 450 max 2 channel amp. I have it bridged at 2ohms and it runs fine and doesn't get hot. It sound good but not as loud as I like. The amp depends on the sub or subs you will hook to it.
