It could but to get the true power of that amp you need to run it at .5 ohm at 2 ohm it would only push I think 100watts not really a sub amp more of a mids and highs amp
Don't under estimate 225G4 amp. In bridged mode, 2ohms will give you 200w rms minimum. In your car, you'll get close to 300w rms. It'll out perform any 300w amp you can find.

If they Duel ohm could wire all the coils in bridged mode that away you get it down to 0.5 to get the 400watts
