Hi! I just moved to the US from Germany, and I brought my old super nintendo with (european version). I have it connected to the tv, a new RCA, and have a voltage converter. I see a picture, but its black and white and has no sound. Is there some other kind of converter I need?? Thanks!
Germany and other European countries use the PAL television standard. North America uses NTSC. these standards are incompatible. if you connected your SNES to your american TV, you should see a rolling black and white picture, but sound should still work. There are convers avalible, but they are pretty pricey. ($60+)
