Hi. I'm trying to help with a friends iPod mini. She bought it in July '05 and it's already stopped working. When I plug it into my computer, the folder with the exclamation mark comes up, the computer doesn't recognize it (in iTunes or otherwise) and I can't fix it by just resetting it. I downloaded the updater but because the computer doesn't recognize that there is an iPod there, that doesn't work either. Have I run out of options?
