I am in the market for an mp3 player. Since I want an extremely simple/cheap player, I've really been interested in the Lexar JumpGear Mp3 player. I like this type of mp3 player because it's modular and I can use whatever size flash drive I want with it. The only thing is I don't have a JumpDrive Sport flash drive to use with it but I do have a 1Gb Sandisk Mini flash drive.

My question is, Can the Sandisk Mini flash stick fit into the JumpGear Mp3 Player in place of the JumpDrive Sport? If you look at dimensions alone, the Sandisk stick may be a little too wide but if the JumpGear provided the flash drive with some unaccounted for breathing room, then the Sandisk may fit. What do ya'll think, and please don't tell me to just buy a JumpDrive sport flash stick and be done with it. If you can't tell, I'm cheap and if this will work it'll save me $65.

Dimensions of Sandisk Flash Drive:
- 72mm x 20mm x 8mm (L x W x D)

Dimensions of JumpDrive Sport Flash Drive which is what actually goes with the JumpGear Mp3 Player:
- 60.4mm x 18.6mm x 11mm (L x W x D)
