Fuji fine pix 2800 lenses and filters, can you buy those?

My daughter just bought a fuji finepix 2800 camera and we are curious of she can buy the adapter for the front of her zoom lense in which to add a filter, if so where do I find those and what kind? I know I am getting ready to give the 3800 a try and I have seen the filters for those but wasn't very sure if they would also fit the 2800. I know the 3800 comes with a small adapter piece and I don't know if it would work for her camera as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Buy the 3800 and try the adapter on the 2800. If it fits, buy another adapter. What could be simpler?
