I have 3 smart media card which displays "card error" after I inserted them into my reader. After reading most of the treads it seems that I need to reformat these cards.
I have tried reformating them through my computer but no luck :-(
Any help relating to reformatting these cards would be appreciated.
Reformat in the camera only. As you've found out formatting in the computer can make the card unreadable in the camera. If that doesn't work I'd wonder if the cards are defective--though 3 at once is highly unlikely.
