A real question

Not that I truly expect an answer, but what the heck?

So: Mamiya Pro-TL or Bronica ETRSi and why? Both look like reasonable starting points for MF in 645 format. From my short research so far it appears with a motor drive handle & AE prism they can handle similar to a 35mm SLR (or DSLR).

If anyone even notices or cares, I did make a decision. :-) I now have a Mamiya 645 Pro & after running the first roll through it...wow. Great camera selling for pennies on the dollar now.

Nice choice Chris:-)

Did you get it online or your local store?

I haven't shot mediums in a long while.

KEH.com At $350 I couldn't say no. I have the images scanned in & just need to get to doing some minor touchup before posting.

Oh, and as a backup I have a Holga. :-)

Whoah! That is some deal!

I am tempted to get that Holga as well...did you modify it yet?

Heh, no. Still have the first roll in it. It's a new 120N, and some of the mods done on older ones are already there--bulb shutter, 435 or 6x6 mask. I'm leaving the insides shiny to see what kind of light leaks I get (is that just wrong or what?). Anyway, at $18 from Samy's how can you say no?

Wonderful pics Chris! I specially like the shot under the pier. Is that flipped backwards? The graffiti writing on the column is mirrored or is it written intentionally. :-)
