For anyone considering Hoya's attractively-priced close-up filter set as a cheap way into macro...forget it.

I just bought a set, and the amount of chromatic aberration is positively staggering.

I understand Nikon's and Canon's two-element diopters are a bit better, but I'm exchanging this lot of junk for a real macro lens.
