"Remember those who have been lost. Give thanks to those that are with us today."
On the other hand, my Father is a Viet Nam vet, and in the past few decades, hasn't even gotten the day off work. This year being no different. That rubs me the wrong way, but an important day nonetheless.
Sorry you have to deal with this sh1t-azz EXCUSE for a President for the next 4 years... Most of the veterans I know are in utter disbelief that they have watched American values diminish to near nothing with the election of Hussein. The American dream has turned into the American nightmare...
Those who gave the ultimate price for what most take for granted everyday SHOULD be honored. Let's hope days like these aren't written out of our country's heritage by someone with an agenda. Let's hope we keep the country the way ALL veterans fought to keep it as. Hard working, English speaking FREE AMERICANS with the power of choice. I can't think of a more insulting gesture with anything less.
