Never heard of it so I dunno.

If I were you(well I wouldnt own a Ford) I would get Flowmaster 40 series. Cant go wrong with Flowmaster. Best sounding exhaust IMO.

^^^^ 100% agreed.

I have a 40 on my truck with mandrel bent pipe and a turndown...... loud and sounds sweet.

But no I have never heard of "aero turbine". But judging only by the name it sounds like a ricer accessory

well its an official nascar sponser and they are real big into the diesel scene. all you get from them is the Muffler and its like 200 bucks for no piping and hangers or tips. so its kinda high, ive had flowmaster in the past and im not a real huge fan, if i dont get this aero exhaust im gonna go with magnaflow or a roush kit.

yeah its a patented muffler that actually in a way sucks air outta the engine releving it of back up pressure thus preserving the life of the engine and its componets.

google aero turbine exhaust and check em out. pretty legit from what ive read so far.

Oh please...... do you also have one of those turbinator things that spins air into your intake and gains like 30 hp?

BTW even if that does exactly what you say, it's not a good thing..... some amount of of back pressure is necessary for an engine to work properly. Known as the minimum back pressure.

I know an engine needs back pressure. But you don't need it all. I talked to the head engine builder at Richard childress racing and he said it works and is a great product. So I'm sold on it

it's called a tornado M.S. :-)

I'll be getting new headers, exhaust, and chipping my 4.3 when the money comes at the end of the year. That will be fun.

Not to thread jack, but I want the exhaust that has that deep growl, it's not loud, it just sounds nice and low. What should I look in to?

4.3 as in the 4.3 Vortec found in S10s and Blazers? If so,I have the same motor in my 01 S10. I have Flowmaster 40 duals on my truck and it sounds awesome. Flowmaster sounds like the muffler for you Thieves, its not too loud and has a nice mellow growl to it.

I also own a Blazer with the 4.3 engine in it. Unfortunately that is one of the quietest large engines I've ever seen lol.

Flowmaster 40 is what I have and even that is moderately loud but not extremely on it. And that is IMO the loudest good sounding muffler out there. They are loud straight piped but sound like complete sh!t lol.

WTF?

I've owned Fords and Chevys. I'm on my 3rd F-150 and love them all. The only Chevy I owned was my Camaro. LOVED the piss out of that too. Even had a Buick for awhile. Never failed me.

Mind you I don't abuse/trash my vehicles like todays drivers do. Drive over curbs daily, go 15,000+ miles between oil changes, ignore warning lights, ride the brakes, ect.....

Bottom line is a machine will only perform as well as it is maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Failure to do that and we have many haters out there pointing fingers at the manufacturers when they should be looking at themselves. Granted todays automobiles are far more advanced and superior to cars of old.

They are still just machines.

Not trying to start a Ford/Chevy debate cause I've owned them both and loved them both.

A pair of twins separated at birth could be reunited 20 years later and what would you see? Two ppl identical at birth changed by the forces around them equaling two different results.

Blah blah blah...........

x2

Like I said, I myself have Flowmaster 40 duals on my 4.3 and it sounds great. Not too loud jus a nice mellow growl.

IMO Flowmaster > any other brand of exhaust by a long shot. I would put a Flowmaster on ANY car, even a damn Civic or some other ricer. I even had a Flowmaster on my 93 Maxima when I had it.

Alot of you know how I feel about Fords after owning three and having nightmare experiences with all, but something needs to be said here. Nobody in the entire auto industry has made greater improvements in quality since 2004 than Ford. Looks like they finally got it, again. The reason I say again is because alot of the Ford's were great back in the day... Mustang, Econoline, F250, Ranger etc., but somewhere around the late 80's it all started falling apart. It isn't like they don't know half of the US are calling their vehicles junk, and they finally got pissed enough to do something about it. It seems that now they are back to really believing that "Quality is Job 1". Ford is a very important part of this country, so even if you hate them you pretty much have to wish them the best. Nissan/Renault still FTMFW though. Some facts:

J.D. Power and Associates

Ford brand quality improves at a rate faster than the industry average.

Ford Motor Company wins 10 vehicle honors, including three top segment performers.

Ford brand has shown continuous improvement in this study since 2004.

Ford and Mercury are among top performing non-luxury brands; Lincoln scores above industry average.

The research firm's 2008 Initial Quality Study (IQS) showed Ford brand improving by eight points over last year's study, besting the industry average seven-point rate of improvement and continuing its five-year upward trend.

Ford and Mercury are among the study's top non-luxury brands, with both placing in the top ten and moving up in the brand level rankings compared with last year's performance. The Ford brand moved up to eighth place from 10th, while Mercury moved up two spots to sixth place, just ahead of the Honda brand. Lincoln ranked 15th among all brands.

Highest ranked:

• Lincoln Navigator, large premium multi-activity vehicle segment
• Ford E-Series, van segment
• Mazda MX5 Miata, compact sporty car segment

Second:

• Ford Ranger, compact pickup segment
• Mercury Sable, large car segment

Third:

• Ford Fusion, mid-size car segment
• Ford Escape, compact MAV segment
• Mercury Grand Marquis, large car segment

LMAO. You obviously have never heard a 4.3 compared to a smaller V6. It sounds more like a V8 than anything else.
