Receiving the check

The IRS has set up a schedule of when checks will be sent to those who file their taxes by the April 15 deadline. The dates depend on whether they selected direct deposit or paper check, as well as the last two digits of their Social Security numbers (SSN):

Direct Deposit Payments

SSN Date

00 -- 20 May 2

21 -- 75 May 9

76 -- 99 May 16

Paper Check

SSN Date

00 -- 09 May 16

10 -- 18 May 23

19 -- 25 May 30

26 -- 38 June 6

39 -- 51 June 13

52 -- 63 June 20

64 -- 75 June 27

76 -- 87 July 4

88 -- 99 July 11

How to use the rebate

As you may have heard the Bush Administration said each and every one
of us would now get a nice rebate. If we spend that money at Wal-Mart,
all the money will go to China. If we spend it on gasoline it will all
go to the Arabs, if we purchase a computer it will all go to India, if
we purchase fruit and vegetables it will all go to Mexico, Honduras,
and Guatamala, if we purchase a good car it will all go to Japan, if we
purchase useless crap it will all go to Taiwan and none of it will help
the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America, so the only way to keep
that money here at home is to buy prostitutes and beer, since those are
the only businesses still in the US.

well, im one of the LAST ones to get it....last 2 digits 99

but then I only get 1/2, the other half goes to child support
then

out of that, I split it with wife
so

1500/2=750
750/2=375
so I get 375
but 275 is going to a tattoo on my back
so that leaves me with 100

"Wasnt that settled a long time ago"

I thought so too.

Although I have to admit, it is slightly unsettling that the same guy who couldn't afford to pay Paul, and was supposedly struggling to support his family, is gonna blow $275 on a tatoo.

There is no issue between Wolfman and I any longer. I've considered the matter closed a few months ago. I had/have no interest in continuing it any further. That is all.

I just rob Peter to pay Paul. Problem being that there are less and less Peter's out there to rob nowadays. So now I just rob Rick's and Richard's, because well... same thing.

What it should go to is anything anti gas lol. It's a shame everything we enjoy is somehow related to oil.

Got a scare just a minute ago with the severe thunderstorm that just blew threw. Now, I'm prepared for a power outage with my generator. What about a fuel shortage?

That's why I topped off my small solar battery bank. I can use it to power just about anything electrical.

In a pinch ya never know lol.

Here in Canada they're giving us each $100 for some sort of climate action attempt. Mine will go towards my Dad's old XT500 probably. Powernow maybe?

Or do I plate the KTM? A 125 2 smoke would be awesome on the street. It'll cruise at 90 fairly easily. It'll be a fair bit of money to get the lighting and speedo on there.

Good. I don't drink Bud. Gives me a headache lol.

Seriously though even some of our largest companies are moving their labor elsewhere. Funny though since so many immigrants are coming here for work. In my industry the labor workforce is entirely saturated with immigrants. (Construction). It's how framing companies stay competitive. Almost nobody uses a 100% American framing crew anymore. They just can't compete with it. Same with landscape companies. There are so many low skilled jobs in this country that it's no wonder they flock here. THE PAY IS GREAT! 10X's what they're used to.

Have a child here and get free benefits to boot.

Just got my "stimulus" check today in the mail, for $322...AGI ($12,000) with 2 dependents...LMAO, what a joke!....

Glad I cheat sooo much on my taxes and earnings..how in the world would a measley $322 help anybody with a low income of $12,000 after taxes with 2 dependents (family of 3)... or stimulate the economy!...this presidential admimistration is a complete JOKE!...AFTER they STOLE my money all year, and spent billions foolishly, they have the balls to give me back $322...I'm pissing my pants and laughing at this one...$322 is not even enuff to go watch 2 baseball games....LMAO...

George W can stick it up his azz...he spends millions daily on a needless war that cannot be won by anybody except BIG Business, but has the audacity to send me $322 to stimulate the country's economy and help my family...somebody needs to drop some acid in his coffee!

BTW...I'm buying beer and gas with the money..may get 1 month of gas and beer, if I stretch it...LMAO

Also the dates are a little off too on the mailing above, released by the GOV...actually they are a lil early...my check was supposed to be mailed on June 20, but was dated 11 June and received today June 14...so they are about 10 days ahead of schedule..

How many zeros in a billion?

This is too true to be funny.

The next time you hear a politician use the
word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about
whether you want the 'politicians' spending
YOUR

tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
but one advertising agency did a good job of
putting that figure into some perspective in
one of its releases.

A.

A billion seconds ago it was 1959.

B.

A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.

C.

A billion hours ago our ancestors were
living in the Stone Age.

D.

A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.

E.

A billion dollars ago was only

8 hours and 20 minutes,

at the rate our government

is spending it.

While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let's take a look at New Orleans It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division

Louisiana Senator,

Mary Landrieu (D),

is presently asking the Congress for

$250 BILLION

to rebuild New Orleans . Interesting number,

what does it mean?

A.

Well, if you are one of

484,674 residents of
New Orleans

(every man, woman, child),

you each get $516,528.

B.

Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in
New Orleans , your home gets$1,329,787.

C.

Or, if you are a family of four, your family gets

$2,066,012.
