The national average last year was like 21 so your above that. You can be very smart and still not do too well on the ACT or SAT, you just have to be a good test taker. I received a 28 on it last year but some of my friends that are alot smarter than me had lower scores.

I got a 34 on the math section haha. BOXES BOXES BOXES.

In my opinion the score you really need to get in order to get into almost all state universities (there are exceptions) is a 25. If you have a 25 and a decent GPA youll be set.

I got a 32 overall..but this guy that was my "equal" gpa wise only got an 18 on the first try and a 16 on the second...so it really has nothing to do with how smart you are..just attention to detail...20+ and u can get into almost any major university...

"20+ and u can get into almost any major university"

Its getting alot tougher Chauncey. When I 1st took it i had a 24 and a 2.9 GPA at a private school. I was waitlisted at Indiana, Illinois (in state i might add), and USC. I ended up getting into all of them but USC after i got my 28 though.

"Cal, where are you going to school at?"

Idk yet, I'm a senior, applied to Miami University (of Ohio), Saint Louis U., Xavier U., Loyola University (of Chicago), and Ohio U.

I got a nice scholarship to Loyola and a decent one to Ohio U., but I haven't heard of anywhere else, but my college counselor told me I'm pretty much guarenteed at any of those schools, bc i got a 2000 on my SATs and have a 3.7. I have yet to look at Saint Louis, but as of right now, Miami's at the top of my list bc they have one of the top 10 business schools in the nation and I'm gonna major in Finance.

Miami ohio is cool, I have ALOT of friends there. Plus there hockey team is #1 in the nation this year...which probably means nothing to most of you haha. St. louis U is ok...Im from St. louis, so of course i hate it, but if your not from here its a good school. I dont know too much about the other schools tho. I was thinking about being a finance major but i dont really know what i want anymore haha.

Yea, initially I was gonna go pre-med at St. Louis, but right now I think I'm gonna double major in Finance and Spanish and take a few biology, science classes too so if, at the end of 4 years, I still have no idea waht I wanna do, I can take the M-cats, and give that a shot haha

the girls at Miami are ridiculous too! you go to ASU, so I'm sure its just as good if not better

27, 25, 28, 28, 28. After three 28s, I stopped taking it. I was really trying to get into the 30's but couldn't get there. I got two full rides with that though, through honors programs. I only had a 3.4 GPA in HS too because I blew off all my homework. I'm doing a JuCo here in Oklahoma, then heading to OU for pharmacy school.

I know the SAT changed the scoring, what would an old school math score of 720 be like on today's test?

also, SLU gives out great scholarships i got a 28 on my ACT and got a ton of scholarship money.

Oh yeah, and good call staying away from Pre-Med.. it's out of control hard.

I stuck with the SAT and got a 1290 on the old one. That was a good score at my school so I was happy.

Andrew above 1200 is a good score at any public school......

I got a 1020 out of 1600 on the old SAT. I've never done that great at academics, unless it's something that interests me. But whatever it was good enough for the school I wanted to go to.
