OT- New PSP game not working, can anyone help?

Hey I got my son a PSP for X-mas and star wars battle front, X men and a few otherw work great, i put in spider man 3 and it shuts the whole unit down! I have a 4gig stick and cannot figure out why, gets throught the credits and just shuts down. Should I return it or is there a setting I need to set? Any help would be greatly appreciated...Polo.

did you charged teh batteries??? u got the fimrware up to date?

Plug it into your PC and reformat back to factory settings. Also make sure to shut the PSP off before you change games.

Ok, this problems solution is simple. Your gonna need:

Lighter Fluid
Lighter
PSP

1. Put fluid on the PSP
2. Use lighter to light fluid
3. Problem Solved

75% of the time, it works all the time

The firmware is up to date, I never really changed the settings and ya I charged the batteries 100% first run. Anyone ever have this happen before? Polo..
