Hopefully you're kidding? Onix makes very highly acclaimed speakers and that one on the right is the Rocket RS1000 Signature which I have heard and are awesome. Note the high output Vifa ring radiator above the ribbons.

Damn you are one odd unit Cocoon Upload

They look ugly and where's the Bi-wire on these over costly so called high end speakers?

Since when did having a second set of binding posts become a prerequisite to being a high end speaker?

The Rocket line is pretty much known for being a great bargain. Six high quality front drivers, four of which are custom made, plus a powered side-firing subwoofer in a 157 pound hand polished rosewood curved side cabinet with asymmetrical internal bracing for $2599 a pair is over costly? And the reason they didn't include bi-wiring is because of the fact that the low end is covered by the powered sub.

You wouldn't say that in person. Well I'm a little disappointed Bi-wiring isn't even an option but you can always take a hand drilling drill a few holes in the back and fit a speaker binding post to the back. Or I can take them to the West cliff at Bournemouth and sidekick them of the edge!

PS: Did you actually listen to the Rockets, or are you just passing judgment on them based on looks?

Those are the Strata Mini's on the left, the speaker that TW purchased, and raved about. They have been lauded by the press to have the coherance and speed of an electrostatic, but the smoothness and warmth of a magneplanar.

They are written to be amazing speakers.
