Wow......now they are saying that Josh was drunk (twice the legal limit), had 8 1/2 grams of weed including a loaded pipe in his car, and was talking on a cell phone when he hit the tow truck.

I go to Saint Louis University (and am a HUGE Cards fan) and I could actually see the accident out the window of my dorm. The reason he was drunk.. There was a huge Bob Costas even at the Fox Theater, also near my campus, and a lot of the Cards players went. One of the guys on my floor works front door at the fox and said he said Edmonds, Hancock, and others were there. The accident happened around 12:30 and I watched a lot of the aftermath from my window. It was pretty bad.. a lot of police/fire were there. not till the next day did i find out what it was.. so sad man. yeah they did release the other day that he had a blood alcohol level of like .157 or something extreme like that. the weed.. well not really a big deal. you aren't going to hit a tow truck while you're driving because of weed, that's not how you drive while you're stoned. i also had someone on my floor whose neighboor said that Hancock used to go to his brothers house and smoke all the time, but i dunno about that i mean they do give drug tests and whatnot. anyway, i don't really care about the circumstances.. it's such a horrible thing to have happen. my heart goes out to his family and the entire Cardinals organization. Win another one for Hancock in '07.

I don't care about or think the weed caused anything either I was just reporting what I heard.

Nice insight Gavin, that's the kind of stuff we never hear... thanks.

No problem.. just reporting what i know. i thought everyone might like to know some more details.. sometimes the media makes it look a little different than it really is.
