Paul>well this is the newest update as of 2:30am last night

James Longo> What is better about FF?hmmm lets see

1>IF you have high speed internet and especially
2>Less security issues than IE
3>Uses less space than IE.
Finally, here is an article from Cnet that compares the two in several different areas. Please read the whole thing.

http://www.cnet.com.au/software/internet/0,239029524,339271935,00.htm

and then download firefox
www.getfirefox.com

and get the Fasterfox add on.
http://fasterfox.mozdev.org/

after installing both, when you run FF, you will see a small fox symbol on the right bottom of your screen
right click it,click on options this will open a window with presets...click on either Optomized or Turbo-Charged. Some people have problems with Turbo, but I've had FF for about a year now and have no prob. with it set to turbo.

Then open the same window again, click on the fasterfox tab, and make sure that Advanced Prefetching is NOT turned on. It shouldn't be anyway, but just make sure.

Then sit back, use FF and smile at how fast it is!

Oh btw, IF you have dial up...FF won't be any faster than IE, but I still would use it because I like it so much.

I know FF is better wolf I have been using it for a long time, I was just asking what is better about the update? but its no big deal I doubt they changed anything that is noticable.
