Well after the 350z was totalled out and the insurance settled i ended up with 23k. So with that ive bought a 2002 Ford Explorer Limited. :-) Finnaly an SUV to work with. no worries of will this or that fit. :-) 1 18" BTL here i come :-). Will have plenty of room for amps and batts also. Plus i can get a 300amp alt for it instaed of the 200 i could of for the Z :D

lol I wanna keep it below the window 2 AT THE MOST. Looking at the t40001 amp from rockford to power the 2 if i go that route. What size box would you suggest for 2 18" BTL's? tuning? port area? cu ft?

i put it in a 10 sq ft box. subs up and port to the rear. 150 sq inches of port. resin the whole inside and round all corners. also i'd put that t40001 to each sub.

http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/9800/pa160002vg7.jpg thats the setup im looking for really 2 15" fits nice 10 cu ft box tuned to 33hz. Taking up all the cargo area in the explorer i would need an expedition to go bigger really.

44.5 is about max what you can do wide
18tall is even with the seats, you can go higher, at this height, when you look in from the outside, you can look al thw way across and it looks like a cover
34.5deep this is the box hitting the bac seat, and it goes to the other end and sits inside the cargo area(get what i mean?)
thats 13.5 cubes i have to work with. so 2 15" it is :-)
